1. Why did you decide to join 3rd-eyes analytics?

Before I started to work for 3rd-eyes analytics I had a long career in one of the biggest banks in the Nordics. I was working in retail banking, mainly leading branches and investment teams. I really loved to do sparring with advisors and my colleagues as well as working with the team to improve the quality of client meetings. I was looking for a position in Switzerland where I could utilise this experience and also my passion to improve the quality of the investment advisory process. I am super happy to be part of the 3rd-eyes analytics team.

2. What do you do when you are not working?

Outside work I love to spend time with my family and do all kinds of sports. Skiing is my biggest passion so most probably you find me somewhere with my skis… off-piste skiing, ski touring, skiing with my family on the slopes in the Alps or doing cross-country skiing in the Jura mountains. The possibility to live next to the mountains was also one reason why we ended up in Switzerland a few years ago. If I don’t have the possibility to go skiing, you can find me at the Crossfit box, swimming in Lake Neuchatel or just spending time with our friends.

3. What do you want to achieve with 3rd-eyes analytics?

I want to see that many banks are using our software when giving investment advice to their clients. People want to achieve their personal goals in their life and have a holistic and realistic picture of their future wealth and invest so that they reach their goals as well as invest in line with their own preferences. And this is exactly what we are doing. It is also great if we can make investment advisors’ life a bit easier in an environment of increasing regulation and changing client expectations.

4. What has been your personal highlight at 3rd-eyes analytics so far?

It has been amazing to notice how well our solution has been received in the Nordic countries and how committed the banks are to developing sustainable investing.

I love the social aspect of the job. It has been great to notice that my existing network has been very useful; people are super helpful, friendly, and willing to discuss future technology solutions in the wealth management area. I have already had a lot of wonderful encounters and I look forward to many more to come in future. It’s amazing to get to know wonderful people who are passionate about their work.

5. What is your motivation?

In working life, I am motivated by the same things as in competitive sports; reaching goals, continuously learning new things and working as a team. I’ve been competing in alpine skiing all my youth, so I’m still quite a competitive person 😉 Racing has taught me a lot about winning and losing, so I always try to work humbly, aiming for the best result, yet not being afraid of failures and mistakes.
