Data protection of 3rd-eyes analytics AG (“3rd-eyes”)

The use of our website is normally possible without giving personal data. If personal data (e.g., name, address or e-mail addresses) are collected on our pages, this is always done as far as possible, on a voluntary basis.

We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (for example, when communicating via e-mail) may present security gaps. A complete protection of the data before access by third parties is not possible.

Collection, processing and use of non-personal data

Cookies

Cookies do not damage your computer and contain no viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and safer. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your computer and which your browser saves. For better user guidance, the 3rd-eyes application uses persistent and non-persistent cookies, so-called “session cookies”. The “session cookies” are automatically deleted when you leave the 3rd-eyes application. You can choose the setting of your browser so that the browser informs you about the placement of cookies or in the future does not accept any new cookies and turns off already existing cookies.

When deactivating cookies, the functionality of the 3rd-eyes application can be restricted.

Personal information

Person-related data (see § 3 para. 4 BDSG) shall be provided by 3rd-eyes only in the event of an active contact of the user, e.g., at registration. If there is the possibility to enter personal data within the service offered (for example during the registration process), the user will provide such data on a voluntary basis.

The protection in dealing with customer data is of the utmost importance for 3rd-eyes. 3rd-eyes applies the applicable legal provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), the data protection provisions of the European Union as well as other data protection directives. 3rd-eyes is committed to the law-compliant and responsible handling of customer data.

If necessary, we will keep you up to date via e-mail with news, offers and services. You can object to the receipt of advertising at any time (by using the corresponding link to unsubscribe in our e-mails or by sending an e-mail to our Customer Service at info@3rd-eyes.com).

 (1) Registration

You can register on our platform. Personal data are collected during the registration process. This data is processed to create your account, to provide you with the necessary access data, to settle service charges and for the purpose of communication.

If you register as a customer, we record your data required for providing you with investment advice. The data to be collected may include:

  • E-mail address
  • First and last name
  • Gender
  • Date of birth
  • Address and telephone number
  • Tax country
  • Financial situation and knowledge and experience of investing in the capital market
  • Financial goals
  • Personal values and believes

In general, each log-in screen must distinguish between mandatory information, which we definitely need for the processing of our services and other voluntary information. The mandatory fields are marked accordingly and you must – if you want us to consider your order – be filled out by you. Voluntary information, as the name implies, is voluntary and does not need to be filled in by you.

(2) Newsletter

3rd-eyes offers the possibility to keep you informed you about news of the 3rd-eyes offer. For this purpose, we need your e-mail address. If you do not wish to receive the newsletter at a later date, you can do so by using the corresponding link to unsubscribe in our e-mails or by sending an e-mail to our Customer Service at info@3rd-eyes.com.

If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us via our contact form available at www.3rd-eyes.com or via e-mail to info@3rd-eyes.com. In order to answer your inquiries, we need the following information from you: name, surname and e-mail address. These data will be used by us only for the purpose of addressing your query

(4) Transfer of data to third parties

3rd-eyes processes and uses the personal customer data only insofar as this is necessary within the framework of the business relationship for purposes of the contract implementation, it is permitted under the data protection laws, or the customer has given the consent (e.g., when sending 3rd-eyes newsletters)

In the course of its service, 3rd-eyes will pass on the collected and stored data (e.g., the orders given by the customer and the related personal data) to the executing third parties (for example the custodian bank), as far as this is necessary for the service provision.

(5) Access to your data

When you register with us as a customer, you specify a username and a personal password. Your username and your personal password ensure that only you have access to your profile. Your password can not be viewed by us because it is stored encrypted in a database.

You always have access to your data stored with us. The data in your profile, you can view and update at any time in the protected area in your profile. When you update information, we usually keep a copy of your original information in our records.

(6) Cancellation and blocking

Your data remain stored for the duration of the business relationship and in the case of accounting reasons within the scope of the statutory retention periods. If you have not consented to any further processing and use of your personal data, 3rd-eyes will delete such data after expiration of the tax and commercial storage periods.

(7) Use of Google Analytics

The 3rd-eyes application uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and which enable you to analyze the use of the 3rd-eyes application.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of the 3rd-eyes application is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, in the case of the activation of IP anonymisation, your IP address will be previously abridged by Google within the Member States of the European Union or in other Contracting States of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there.

Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the 3rd-eyes application, to compile reports about it, and to provide third-eyes services. You can prevent cookies from being saved by setting your browser software accordingly; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to fully utilize all the functions of the 3rd-eyes application. In addition, you can prevent Google’s processing of the data (including your IP address) generated by the cookie and your use of the 3rd-eyes application (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google by using the browser available under the following link:

(8) Children

We are not interested in a targeted collection of personal information concerning children. If we become aware that such information has been transmitted to us without the consent of the parent or other guardian, we will promptly delete it. In doing so, we are dependent on relevant information from you as a parent or legal guardian.

Use of social plugins / external content

(1) LinkedIn

3rd-eyes uses features of the LinkedIn network. Is the LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Each time you visit one of our sites that have LinkedIn, LinkedIn connects to LinkedIn servers. LinkedIn is informed that you have visited our Internet pages with your IP address. When you click the “Recommend” button of LinkedIn and you are logged in to your LinkedIn account, it is possible to assign your visit to our website and to your user account. We would like to point out that as a provider of the pages we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data as well as their use by LinkedIn.

(2) Foreign content

On the pages of the 3rd-eyes application, third-party content (such as YouTube videos, RSS feeds, etc.) can also be included. As a rule, providers of these content store cookies on the user’s computer. You can block these cookies in your browser with add-ons. However, 3rd-eyes points out that in this case you can use the functionality of the 3rd-eyes application only to a limited extent.

As a rule, third-party vendors also store the IP address to send the corresponding content to the user’s browser. 3rd-eyes has no influence on the use of the IP address by third parties.

Safety

To ensure secure data transmission, we use encryption technology when using the 3rd-eyes platform. Using a 256 bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption, your data is transmitted to our servers and vice versa. In the status bar of your browser you can recognize this by the closed lock symbol and the address line beginning with https: //.

Your rights

As a user, you have the right to receive free of charge information about the data stored about you. In addition, you may at any time revoke the consent to the collection, processing and use of your data with effect for the future.
